The Loch Ness Monster is a legendary steel coaster built in 1978 by Arrow Dynamics.  Nessie is an ACE Coaster Landmark .  When she was built, Nessie was the tallest coaster in the world with a 114 ft drop, and was the first, and now the only, coaster with interlocking loops.  She reaches speeds of 60 mph over her 3,240 ft layout, that includes a helix through Nessie’s cave.  Great photo opportunities can be found on the Grimm’s Landing bridge below.  To learn more about the monster, check out Beyond the Ride: Loch Ness Monster
